HMRC has published a new online guide, which is designed to help charities complete their Gift Aid donations schedule.

Based on a brief review it appears to be quite useful, building on some of the flowcharts that were produced when Charities Online was first introduced.

We would welcome feedback from members on this guide and any information that could be added/clarified, as we can then relay this back to HMRC when we meet them to discuss preparation of Gift Aid claims later this year.

In addition HMRC have added a new guidance section on getting the right software to open a schedule spreadsheet.
