A Government response to Parliamentary Question has highlighted the recipients of the Tampon Tax Fund to date.

“In total, 25 charities have been allocated funding so far. This includes funding allocated to Comic Relief and Rosa to disburse funding over the coming year to a range of grassroots women’s organisations across the UK, in recognition of the high number of applications received.

David Gauke has stated that the zero rate of VAT for sanitary products will take effect as soon as possible after Royal Assent of the Finance Bill (2016), with some notice to retailers, but this is still to be implemented.
