Members are reminded that HMRC’s Call for Evidence on the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme (GASDS) closes on 2 March 2016.

CTG is preparing a response based on feedback from members and the discussions at the recent seminar with HMRC and HMT officials (a note of which can be read here).

HMRC officials are particularly keen to receive anecdotal evidence and examples that illustrate the aspects of the scheme that do not work in practice. We encourage members to respond directly to HMRC and to share response with CTG too. You need only respond to the questions that are relevant to your organisation.
