Charitable Status for Charity Tax Group

At the Charity Tax Group annual conference we announced our recent confirmation of charitable status and celebrated with delegates.

The Charity Tax Group is the voice of charities on tax so it makes sense that we are now recognised as a charity ourselves, providing education, information and training to charities around the complex issues of tax. We also work to get a fair deal from the government for charities on tax.

One of the reasons CTG applied for charitable status is because, in the the words of our chair, Richard Bray “if you’re representing the charity sector, you want to be a charity”.

We are very proud to have received this status as it aligns us with the organisations we support and will also hopefully mean we can look to diversify our fundraising.
